A Good Omen (A Drum Show)

Right after I posted the last entry, Drew and I headed out for the evening. We were picked up in a cab by some friends of friends from the East Coast. They had been to a live drum show the week prior that was so good, they had to go again! And, they were completely right in doing so.

The show was great, to say the least. The gig was a group of 14 percussionists on different bongos, snares, etc. What was really great though was that each number was lead by a different member, and they also switched instruments too. Every song was distinctively different and amazing! The drummers also all had matching red jumpsuits. Kinda funny, mostly awesome.

To make things even better, there was beer. I like beer - particularly when a litre-sized cup costs about $4. Overall the night was a blast and served as a good omen for the rest of the week. More updates on which will come soon!
