Yeah, I know, I shouldn’t rub it in like that but I can’t help it.
Today was a good day, and a great start to Buenos Aires. And, it’s only 6:30pm!
I crashed early last night, after a dinner of yummy empanadas from a local panaderia and some wine. Drew and I ate on the 19th floor terrace of their building, where we saw an epic lightning storm move in. The lightning got serious and eventually we had to move inside as it started pouring down rain.
Anyways, going to bed early and sleeping in left me feeling well recovered from my jet-lag. Around noon, Drew and I set out on foot - first stop: lunch. Lounged at cafe where we sat outside and enjoyed the balmy fall weather. Second stop: the MALBA Museum. Third stop: ice cream. Then, we headed back to the apartment and decided to take advantage of the sweet pool in the courtyard. No complaints here.
